It's such a tiny orifice, the correct way is to remove the rack, and split the carbs into L & R pairs, and go from there. Once you know your way, the time isn't too-bad. Check the float level while you're in there.

No, the jets you need to clean are inside the jet blocks and the shotgun or pea shooter techniques are not able to reach them.

They are indeed connected and can be blown out depending on how plugged up they are. Ideally you would access and clear them manually but the two techniques can work some of the time saving significant effort taking them apart.

Ive had VERY good luck with a "shotgun" after removing PAJ#2 so you can get a full blast of air into the passages.
