I was wondering if anyone has ever taken all stock dials out and replaced it with an aftermarket single dial.
I am working on a custom tank and the rpm display etc don’t really fit into the design.
With them all unplugged, the bike won’t even turn on.
Any ideas?
Cheers

I have to say this surprises me. I would need to revisit the wiring diagram but would have thought all the wires going to the instrument end at the dial or lamps; possibly an earth disconnected?

I would suggest plugging in the panel and disconnecting the wires one by one.

Was this a Gen2? Could you tell which wire was the RPM signal from the ECU?
