Not that I'm biased or anything, I'm surprised that the Vmax didn't make the list.

Honorable-mention.

List is biased to modern-day bikes it seems. Also they didn't include the original Ducati air-cooled superbike, the 851, in the list of bikes in that group.

I think they could have had a competition list and a streetbike list. Next-time.

The RC-166 certainly belongs there. It hurts your eardrums to be anywhere near it. And, that redline! Their Formula 1 V-12 car engine was similar, very loud, I heard it run back in the day at Watkins Glen in the 1960's. The only thing I recall that could approach it for noise was the BRM H-16.

I went to the Glen in 1968, and remember the Honda F1 car. John Surtees drove it if I remember correctly....
