Gear oil capacity

Hey guys,
Checked the capacity in my owners manual and it shows 10 oz on the
conversion chart for final gear refill.
Well I can barely squeeze 8 oz's in. Is this right ? :ummm:
No matter what surface I check it on, ( Thought originally I was on
an unlevel surface) it pours out when I pull the plug. Does some
fluid get trapped where it can't drain ? Went to 75-90 mobil one.

I usually don't check amount but just get the level to where it needs to be. When draining, I turn the wheel and tip the bike a bit to ensure most of the oil is gone.

I fill it till it starts coming out the fill hole. has worked for me over the past 7 yrs

I'll pull the plug and let it go until just
to top of the threads. ( just like on the car )
Last guy who had the bike must have had the
same question as when I pulled the plug it came
gushing out.

On the center stand basically you put all it will hold, can't really mess it up.
