Greeting fellow Vmaxers.

There is this Brembo caliper on the bike which is in another country and the only thing I have atm are these pics.
The goal is to get brake pads and repair kit for the caliper.
So if anyone can recognize it or a bike which have those calipers in stock - please write your ideas. Gotta find the brake pads for that caliper and reverse check via brake pad sizes.

Looks like something from an older Ducati. Mid-1990's Monster? Get someone to measure the O.D. of the pistons (note they're differently-sized), and the O.C. dimension in mm for the mounting holes. Then go visit a Ducati dealer or someone who works on 'em.

Do you still have the old pads? The shape of them can help to I.D. the origin, or what bikes used 'em. I think in the Parts Unlimited book, there's a set of drawings of the brake backing pad shapes.

Thanks for reply.
You mean mounting of the caliper to the fork? Now that's the beautiful part, that it is goes to the fork without any adapter plate whatsoever. I'm surprised that nobody knows a caliper that goes straight bolt-on on a Vmax, guess it's not better than the stock one - hence not a popular upgrade.
I've met only one metioning of these calipers and no origin is mentioned, only that they are from a Vmax. - brembo ブレンボ フロントキャリパー ヤマハブレンボ ヤマンボ スズンボ V-max Vmax1200取り外し ヤマハ純正ブレンボ「中古」の落札価格|キャリパー|ヤフオク! 落札相場- オークファン(aucfan.com)

Yeah, I've got the old pads, so gone searching the parts unlimited ))

Ther are two different dimensions for the caliper mount O.C.
early is I believe 82 MM O.C. 1985-1992
late is 100 MM O.C. 1993-2007

If you check via the 'search' function here, you will find the correct dimensions, I'm writing this from a dusty memory.

Well, your memory seems to be as good as 5 years ago ;)

the 1985-1992 are the smaller caliper mounting spacing (84 mm), while the 1993-2007 are the larger caliper mounting spacing (100 mm).

The thing is that I can't find Brembo p4 calipers with 100mm mounts. Everybody is telling me that they are either 40mm or 65mm.
p4 40mm and p4 65mm are easy to find in the catalogues and were installed on Ducati Monsters (and probably others as well).
But the thid one - ...... no idea what it is.
