Ignition coils

Ok so i got my battery up and going after a full night of charging. I started taking apart the wiring harness tape to find the crimp underneath and i noticed there are two fine stress cracks on the underside of my coils under the seat. They are not deep just white cracks. I will post pics later today. I read that i could epoxy those cracks until i get new coils. Any suggestions on a brand or upgrade from the stock coils? Mid range is fine.

Check out all the threads on COPs - great upgrade to the OEM coils and cheap to get and replace if they ever fail.

From what I understand, small surface cracks are common and are not necessarily a problem. Before replacing maybe you should test them out. The shop manual should show how to test in the troubleshooting section.
