Need help identifying the triple trees and forks on this Vmax

Hi!

I`m trying to help out a German Vmax rider who wants to buy the bike below which is located in the Netherlands. For the TÜV (simimar to the DMV), everything needs to be documented. So before he can import the bike to Germany, the parts need to be identified. Who can help with this? Thank you!

Not sure what they are? The fitment would likely be pre-2003 since it's not running the radial mounted calipers which started in 2004 on the R1.

I`m not done searching yet but they seem to be Ohlins. If you look at the location of the clamp bolts and the section around the axle, it`s a match with this set used on a Multistrada:



So that looks promising at least.

Well, the German rider contacted Ohlins and they replied it`s one of theirs. The search continues...
