Recommended carb jetting/setup

The first picture in this thread clearly shows the line used for wet level measurement. It's approx. 1/2" long, right below the word "corp"

PROCEDURE: Make 2 tic marks on a piece of clear tubing, one at 15mm and one at 17mm from the end, attach tubing to your float bowl drain hose, place the end with the tic marks at the line on the carb, open the drain screw and the fuel should rise to a point between those tic marks. I prefer a leaner setting (closer to the 17mm mark)
Turn the key on a couple times to cycle the fuel pump making sure fill the float chamber stays full.

I was shocked to see how far off mine were! I kept thinking I was doing the check incorrectly, so I tore them down and bench checked them. Way off.... from the factory!

Im also at the north end of seneca lake and the glen is at the south end its an awesome ride down to the glen, i like to stop in and see everybody at lanes yamaha!!
