I decided after 5.5 years on this old bike to try and lean out the motor so my wife would not complain about the rich running smell. So I pulled out three of the throttle valves and pulled out the needles. There is no adjustment. The needle looks fat at the lock clip end and tapers down to a point. Bottom to top stack top stack is a pink washer with an indexing pin for the throttle valve base, the locking clip in the only slot. A washer above the locking clip, spring and securing screw. So, I can perform no adjustment. I also noted a restriction in the pink washer, I imagine so you can find the index hole by feel. The needle had a little writing on it which my old eyes will not read. Any ideas?
