which year regulator to buy?

I know i want one from a r1 but is there a certain year that fits/works best?

the electrosport 96-07 regulator work on all of them you need to get new cap head screws to mount it you need like 1.25" screws believe m6

All post 2002 will work but 02-03 are more compact so may fit better..I think some later model Kawa's also use the same R/R

You do need to cut some connectors to do this
