The side covers are usually aluminum, some OEM are black on the bottom half.

I like a yellow bike. I have a set of yellow tins w/o the front fender.

In decent shape those are a fair deal. Seeing the YAMAHA on the rear fender, leads me to believe it's OEM paint.

2006-07 side covers were glossy black top-matte black bottom----letters were outlined in red as well as the anniversary 2005----I have a yellow front and rear fender and you can still buy the YAMAHA rear fender sticker from the factory.
