    Why V-Boost?

    I'm probably very ignorant in asking this but whatever, if you don't ask you wont learn! So my question is, why have a V-Boost system? Why not have slightly bigger carbs and inlet manifolds? I'd say it would be a lot cheaper to set up and there is more than enough room to install them.

    Can one, by him or her self, take the tire off the alloy by simple use of their hands and tools found in the home? Or does it require a proper specialist machine??

    Footrest damper issues

    The bracket where the footrest attaches to has a rubber damper, and I'm wondering, will the damper be able to resist the temperature (~200) of the oven in the powder coating process??

    Powder coat temperature resistance

    What kind of paint/coat can be used for the engine? I was thinking that I'd powder coat it. But will the powder coat be able to sustain the repetitive heat ups and cool downs of the engine? I'm especially worried around the exhaust ports where it is going to get VERY hot.

    shot blasting the engine

    HI! I'm thinking of shot blasting the engine clean of old paint and oxidation and getting it re-painted. Has anyone had any experience in doing this? What kind of preparations need to be done before doing it??
