The bracket where the footrest attaches to has a rubber damper, and I'm wondering, will the damper be able to resist the temperature (~200) of the oven in the powder coating process??

are you talking on the passenger brackets?

Yea, the rubber insert for the muffler mounting will survive just fine (and even survive chroming).

if thats what hes talking about yea i had mined powdercoated too. same kinda crap as the rear wheel inserts yea?

Nope, those are removable not like rear wheel ones LOL

EDIT:
But still a BIG PITA to remove!

the rear wheel ones can be removed, right? i'm not saying i'd do it, but they are separate parts via a micro fiche.
