I just got my bike back from the Yamaha shop. They went through my carbs and said the sync was way off, also adjusted the air fuel mixture. I have a 95 vmax all stock except for the v boost being open all the time. I have the mixture screws out 4.5 turns and can't seem to get the idle rich enough. It has a stuble off idle until about 5000. I am guessing I need to fatten up the idle circuit. How do I do this? Thanks for your help

I got my 2 boost modules from Sean today. Now I have another problem. "when I turn the key ON" the black slider block does not open all the way....it lifts and drops 5 times in a row, only lifting the block a 1/4 of the way, then stops. I try it again...this time it lifts slower, but still...

1985 max. Some times This bike goes like a rocket, and then the next time I twist the wick it doesnt pull as hard. What are the steps for checking if the boost is working ect. Is there a site that explains this in detail, pics would be nice. Thanks in advance :biglaugh:

Hey guys I`m buying a sasy boost system for my bike.I like the choices that the sasy gives me.My question is if I run my bike on a constant boost or change the factory boost settings will this reduce the longevity of my engine.Thanks!!!

Can any one help me? I have recently brought a 92 vmax and have some DIY wiring attached to the v-boost control unit which goes up to the clocks wiring loom. The v-boost kicks in at 6,000 rpm and there is no T-boost switch, so what is this wiring for?:ummm:

Hi i just pulled my carbs so i could clean them and remove the front two coils for my cops and i noticed there is a little module called the boost sensor by the icu. There is a hose from this unit and i dont know where it plugs in, can anyone let me know thanks.

i was going to unplug the v boost at open all the time. would i have a problem with it running leaner and have to rejet or will it actually make it run richer?
