correctors

Can anybody tell me what the air hole size is on the air correctors that we use from the kits like the muscle kit? I have another project on the burner and the mod monkey is back....LOL It would have to be something like .05 or 1.1. Any any reason the particular size is being used? Dyno tests?

Sean's Kit comes with Shorter Springs.. Will I feel/hear a difference with this Mod?? Does this affect throttle response? Will the RPM's settle more quickly? And Air Correctors.. Anyone care to explain?? I'm already planning for next season!!:eusa_dance::punk: -KarmaKatt- VMOA 5652

Running lean, I have the stage 1 DJ needles installed, clip on 5th, 170 mikuni mains, carbs sync, 4 pod K&Ns, 4 into 1 Kerker, It has some surging and stumbles in a head wind, I don't know if it has the air correctors on the main air jets, what do they look like? and is this what they are made...

I have been reading about them that they need to be used with a modded air box or if running just the filters. I tried searching for pictures but didn't find any. So what are they for?

As most of you know, I've been locked in a seemingly endless battle with the Evil Spirit of my 89 VMax. PATMAX, allisontech, CaptainKyle, Conea01 and a few of the Ladies were present when we cut SkullDuggery's Evil Heart Out... Air Correctors,,,,, I've been asking about them for some time...

OK all you VMax Gurus's......any ideas on how to remove the air correctors with out taking the carbs off and drilling them out? I put them in to run the pods.....got over that real quick with some surging at high rpm. Want to go back and start from scratch. Right now I have surging/breakup...

hi there guys, can anyone point me a direction where to get the air correctors ONLY? does the yamaha agent sell them and if its possible, can someone pls post up a close up of what the air correctors look like?? i'm modifying the airbox by sealing off the top portion and opening the front...

are the main air correctors in the sage 7 kit just supose to go in that hole? I dont have to remove that brass thing?
