They make a 4 way stretch but it will still distort the foam in order to get enough pull to lay flat. Still better to have seams at the right angle changes.

I have folds on rear part, I got rid of fold on front part, (fixed it). I am happy with results. Good enough for me. I fix leather car seats sometimes, replacing pieces, i hate doing it, takes long time.
