Dale Walker pipes 14" comps

Just wondering about his slipons. Of course he suggests using a stage 1 with his pipes, but do you actually have too? any thoughts anyone? Im thinking just jet down one size, set the screws 2.5 up front, 3 in the back. Maybe shim the needle. As I recall, you have to drill the hole out on the slide?

I would say no to the Stage 1 and drilling the slides everything else sounds good

+1-I wouldn't drill the slides or put a stage 1 kit in. Talk to Sean Morley about his kits.

One thing I dont know.....is the Dale Walker stage 1 like the dynojet stage 1?

I have also been wondering about that. I emailed Dale about it and he wouldn't give me specifics about what his kit actually includes.

Pretty sure his jet kit is k&n filter for the stock airbox, main jets, and needle shims. Not a DJ stage 1

My last vmax had his kit from the 1999 timeframe, springs, CV top bolts, drill bit for the slide, 3 sets of mains, needles and shims
