Exhaust yellowing-right only

Yellowing of the exhaust is happening on the right sided header pipe, but not on the left. I would think the yellowing would appear on the left too? Is this normal and does anyone know of a good way to polish out the yellowing?

If its polished stainless use gypsum powder. Thats what i use to buff the polished parts when they start to get dull

Never heard of trying gypsum. Interesting. Whats the process?
