Does the vmax have a rev limiter?

I have heard yes and no.

Anyone willing to rev their bike in neutral to prove this? lol,

Today I missed 3rd and over reved, man I hate that.

In the service manual description of the functions of the TCI box it does mention rev limiter without being anymore specific than that, timing retard perhaps?

I've posted the section and page before where I found it.

In my opinion tho' it's bullshit and there is no rev-limiter

In any case my 99 would rev to the moon, I spun it at least 12,500 accidentally before getting a dyna 3000

I have an SPA tach/speedo with max RPM recall and I have had it over 11,500 during some missed shifts. No Rev limiter. A Dyna 3000 ignition will give you a rev limiter though if you really want one.
