I used to think I was just a regular guy, but . . .

I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist.
*
I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today's standards, makes me a fascist.
*
I am heterosexual, which according to gay folks, now makes me a homophobe.
*
I am non-union, which makes me a traitor to the working class and an ally of big business.
*
I am a Christian, which now labels me as an infidel.
*
I believe in the 2nd Amendment, which now makes me a member of the vast gun lobby.
*
I am older than 64, which makes me a useless old man.
*
I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which must make me a reactionary.
*
I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes me a xenophobe.
*
I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.
*
I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.
*
I believe in the defense and protection of the homeland for and by all citizens, which now makes me a militant.
*
Now, a crooked old woman is calling me and my friends a basket of "deplorables."
*
Please help me come to terms with the new me . . .... because I'm just not sure who I am anymore!
*
I would like to thank all my friends for sticking with me through these abrupt, new found changes in my life and my thinking!
I just can't imagine or understand what's happened to me,...and so quickly!
*
Dr. Ben Carson said, "People all over the Nation are starved for HONESTY AND COMMON SENSE
*
Funny . . . it's all just taken place over the last 7 or 8 years! And, as if all this crap wasn't enough to deal with . . . I'm now afraid to go into either restroom!

Think I read this one via email, but still enjoyed it the second time around.

Here's a few rules, by the lefts friend, Saul Alinski. One of Hilarys hero's. Wrote a nice college thesis about him. You can see, without any effort, how theses tactics (rules) have been used to demonize any, that disagree with the lefts agenda. Volumes could be written with specific examples of these rules being practiced right now. The stand outs for me are #5,8,9,11,13. There all in play, but the ones I listed explain the labeling of the original post, and glaring attacks on Trump/conservatives.

The Rules[edit]
1.“Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.
2.“Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.
3.“Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.
4.“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
5.“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
6.“A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.
7.“A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.
8.“Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
9.“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.
10."The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition." It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.
11.“If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
12.“The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.
13.“Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

Here's my list that I'm coming up with off the top of my head:

1. I'm a heterosexual. I think any two consenting adults, regardless of their sexuality, should be allowed to marry. Therefore I'm a pansy liberal.

2. I'm a gun owner, but I also am receptive to reasonable restrictions. Therefore I'm a an anti-2nd liberal who wants to take everyones guns away.

3. I think Trump is the living personification on the way the rest of world stereotypes Americans -- dumb and arrogant. Therefore I'm a dumb Liberal.

4. I think Hillary is the epitome of a corrupt politician - therefore I'm a dumb Republican.

5. I respect religion and peoples faith. I have no problem with saying Merry Christmas, but I firmly believe in the separation of church and state -- therefore I'm a godless liberal.

6. I believe in a woman's right to choose to have a child since having a child puts the mothers life at risk as well. People should always get a choice when their own life is at stake. That makes me a genocidal liberal.

7. I believe in smaller government and limits on social welfare programs. Therefore that makes me a heartless Republican.

8. I believe in getting my own house in order before I criticize others. I try my very best to always be introspective to ensure I'm not being hypocritical. I loathe double standards -- that makes me a unicorn.

9. I think a cop can be in the wrong when they fire their weapons. I also think they can be in the right. I think each case should be looked at objectively. I think in the cases where they are wrong there should be consequences. I think blue lives matter. I think black lives matter. I think all lives matter. I don't get offended by any of these terms because I understand the context in which they are used. That makes me a leprechaun.

10. I think all recipients of government funds should be held to the same standards. That can either make me a liberal or a conservative depending on which recipient we are talking about.

I agree with you on most and disagree with a few but that's what make the world go round. Overall +1
