Max tire size

Just wondering what the max tire size I can put on the Vmax. Looking for the bigger look on the back end.

A friend of mine who works on vmaxes tried a bigger tire and said the handling wasnt the greatest compared to the size they take.
I've never used different, so I can just go by what he says.

I'm running 170/80/15, Metzler 880 with no problem but a bigger size won't fit in the 15". To the best of my knowledge anyway. Go for the look!

So your saying I can put the 170 on there with out changing the set up or the rear end.

You're welcome. Swing arms differ so you might have to place the washer from the right side to the left. Many are running this size without a problem.
