I am out of $24 and 30 min. work!!!! OMG!!!
Bad frame rail, bought one from ebay for $24 .

Flood bike! Better have someone who has the technology to determine the extent of metal worm damage before you go spending anything more on this. I'd be looking for a clean un-rusted replacement frame.

Hit a pothole, land hard from a wheelie, and have the bike catastrophically-fail. Better have it examined thoroughly by a competent professional.

Very light surface rust, 5 min. black paint spray job.

How did you figure it out? I was scuba diving and found this Vmax. We hooked it to a boat and dragged to the beach.
