Northernmost Ride for the Red.

On July 12th 2008, The American Red Cross of Alaska is sponsoring "the Farthest North Ride for the Red."

Registration is at 10:00am at Thunder Road Cycles on College Rd. The ride starts at 11:00am. It will be a 100+ mile ride through interior Alaska.

BBQ and festivities starts at the Farthest North Outpost at 2:30pm.

$25 Entry fee/Donation includes a '08 rocker, and a chance to win a new leather jacket. Plus this year they are planning a suprise! Registration is the day of the event. Call the Red Cross at 907-353-7234 for more info.

This year sign up will be on saturday, July 11th at the northern outpost at 10:30. The ride starts up at 11:30. $25 fee, gets you a t-shirt, bandanna, patch and free BBQ with live music afterwards.

Last year was a blast, after the run several of us continued on for more riding and fun.
