While I'm at it...I found that the pickup coils for '85 to '89 1200 are verry hard to find and expensive if you do. Was thinking if a number of us post a request for them, say @ rics electronics, caltric or even exactrep etc. something might happen. I can see many usable bikes being parted out for lack of this crucial piece . Just thinking. Wayne

Yes, I made a post about this a short time ago. Someone could try using the other pieces available, to make a replacement, but it would need to be someone with more electrical skills than I have. It requires the resistance to be correct, the air gap to be correct, and the pick up coil placement to be correct. Sounds like a small cottage industry part for someone?
