Seat attachment bolt stripped

Has anyone else had a problem with the seat attachment bolts? I went to take my seat off and one bolt just spins, like the capture nut on the bottom broke free

If memory serves well (or not) I had the same issue. As far as I can recall there isn't a captive nut but it is threaded into the frame (?).
I used a helicoil to reinstate the thread.

To get the old bolt out grab with some pliers ore better still a self locking wrench and pull on the bolt as you twist.

Not a problem with the seat bolts but one of the airscoop bolt holes stripped the first time I tried putting it back in.

Thats funny, but mine also. Just one bolt left side low.

The cheap thread repair sets from Amazon are not that bad.

Then you need to Helicoil it.

I'm not that concerned about it...the other two bolts are holding the scoop fine.
