I'm assuming if someone let the smoke out of a tci box it's time for an aftermarket ignition. Question is wich one? The turbo Gpz uses all dyna parts but is there something better for the vmax? Ignitech is one I keep hearing about.

Any thoughts

I happen to like and run the ignitech. One of its benefits is that you can use it to control the Vboost as well, and if you ever decide to use COPS, you do not have to run resistors. With the older dyna you HAVE to run resistors, and I believe that you have to as well with the new Dyna, but I'm uncertain about that.

There also happen to be some very good ignition maps running around for the ignitech as well, so you can load a "proven" map, and dont have to come up with one of your own. Have you checked out the ignitech thread yet?

EDIT....if not, here it is.....loves of good reading here. http://www.vmaxforum.net/showthread.php?t=23506&highlight=ignitech
