yzf600R/Thundercat Front wheel

Hi folks,

I purchased a YZF600R wheel for my 85 to match the 17" rear I'm getting from Tom at Cycle one-off. I have read that it's a direct bolt-on for a pre-92 bike. The new EBC rotors I bought for the Max bolted right on to the wheel.
I've also read that I can use my original axle. Before I go ahead and buy a tire for it and get it mounted; is there anything else I need for the swap? I know the 92- bikes require some shaving of the forks but I don't think the 85-91 version do?

opps yes I did the bike handles much better thx. There was just a little bit of machining to do on the right fork

Did you swap speedo drive internals to make the speedometer accurate?
