Rear Brake not working. ABS not working?

I would suspect the master cylinder needs a rebuild done before going with anything to do with the abs. Kits are not expensive and they give these same symptoms when the seals go bad.

Gen II pothole mishap, rear wheel

Or a combination of the dandy hole and low tire pressure. Seen it many times in the shop.

    Servicing

I'm pretty sure its the conversion of miles to kilometers....4000 miles = a little over 6000 kilometers. They always round service intervals to easy numbers, hence the round down to 6000.

    Fork seal tool

Use an air impact gun and socket to break the bolts loose on the bottom of the forks. Just make sure the socket is fully inserted into the bolt before you hit go! This will prevent any stripping or slipping....this has worked for me with countless fork seal replacement jobs that come into the...

    Pulling the cylinder head

Easiest way to pull them is to double nut the studs (meaning lock two nuts together about mid-way down the studs, then use a wrench to turn the nuts and the stud should turn outward with them. If the studs feel too tight still, some moderate heat applied to them should do the trick.

Front tire wobble, already replaced bearings. . .

With the wheel mounted on the bike with everything at proper torque and the front end off the ground, grab the tire with one hand at 12:00 and the other at 6:00..try to rock the tire back and forth. Any play? If so, is your axle smooth or is it grooved (should be smooth). If there is no obvious...

    Fuel Pump

First and foremost, make sure it is getting 12 volts. Could be a wiring issue. Is anything else not working on the bike (electrical)? Check fuses if no voltage going to the pump. If you have full voltage going to the pump, double check the ground. If all is good, then you can bet its the pump...

This will be my carb cleaning

No shame in that bro. Better to do that than you ending up with four half - disassembled carbs and no running bike.

This will be my carb cleaning

One thing to pay careful attention to..... As you remove the choke linkages, PAY ATTENTION to the where each piece goes before removing it. Not anything major, but it can be confusing when you start to reassemble if you've never done it before. Also, keep up with the tiny e-clips...LIL mofos...

This will be my carb cleaning

You will need to at least need to split it into two sections...front cylinders are one bank, rear cylinders are the other bank. Once you pull the choke assembly and fuel lines, it will become easier and more obvious. There is a carb rebuild sticky that you can follow...6 threads I believe. VERY...

I can't understand what the hell is wrong

I've put as much as 1/2 can of seafoam in a full tank of fuel...used it to address the same issues on a customer's bike that you are currently having. It smoked some when I twisted the throttle hard, but this customer didn't want to spend the $$$ for a full carb disassembly and cleaning, so I...
