Alternate mufflers

Has anybody ever tried to use import cans on a 1st gen Max? Any idea of how they would sound? I'm looking to do something different but don't know enough about backpressure and how it would affect performance. I'm not looking to gain a bunch of power or re-jet, but I don't want to lose power either. Any ideas, thoughts?

are you talking about them fart boxes?
Automotive muffs have been put on bikes before, IMO some ended up sounding pretty good.
Search Youtube and you'll find a few.

Yes, it will sound very nice in many cases. That's what I have on my setup.

I've had thoughts of Cherry Bomb Glass Packs at some point in the future...
Any Muffler / Can, if it fits and has appropriate inlet and outlet, it'll probably work fine...
