I bought the Delkevik OEM front pipes to replace the old ones on my 2000... I've never done this before...but going to do this myself because I want to learn... The old ones came off easy with the mufflers still in place...and cleaned out the old gaskets... My questions... The Delkevic gaskets are pretty fragile...so do I soak them in hot water to get them on the pipe...and how do I space the muffler ends so that those pipe ends with gaskets will slip in easier without pitentially destroying the gasket??? Any help or link to info on how to do it here would be greatly appreciated...

I would venture a guess that the gaskets probably fit like the factory gaskets do in that they fit between the exhaust opening on the head and the flared end of the exhaust pipe then clamped down to the studs mount in the head.
