Pretty interesting concept and idea. Wonder if something like this could be applied to bikes for road racing.

The Gen 2 has something similar but for the intakes to have a wider rpm performance range by changing geometry of intakes, i. e. the length of the bell mouths.

Oh boy oh boy. Its a 2 stroke so the reason of this is resonating the exhaust chamber
becouse the peak power by 2 stroke is where the acoustic resonans occurs.

This will completly not work with 4 stroke engines. It will make a catastrophic effect on it.

What i meant is that gen 2 has a similar mechanism but on the intakes to get the best of 2 worlds (torque and power) across the rpm range. of course has nothing to do with 2 stroke engines.

I would have thought that the four stroke equivalent would be the EXUP valve.

It changes the resonant frequency of the exhaust which will alter when the reverse pressure wave arrives at the exhaust valve.
