Nice one KJ.

These things are starting to catch my eye. Decent specs are coming into play.
There is a very interesting "Solar City" project here. I am not in it yet, but I know a few people who are putting more into the grid than they take out. http://www.perthsolarcity.com.au/

So electric bikes may well be in my future. Charged from solar panels.

I'm not getting rid of my vmax though. :biglaugh:

I agree,
A couple of years back, I spoke with Bill on the phone for about 2.5 hours.
We talked about Eva's bike and his Killacycle dragbike, he was just in the design phase of the salt flat racer,Killajule.

He says the latest battery tech, is the key. All of their bikes were built on a tight budget in their garage. Killacycle would be even faster with the latest battery tech and bodywork. Its running the heavier fiberglass body instead of the stuff the prostockers are using. HE told me he built it for around $55-60k.

Killacycle set records. now the electric motorcycle streamliner is setting records.
Not to shabby for garage built, electric racers.

There's a class up here on campus that deals with EV conversions.
So far they've done a car, a quad, snowmachine, and a transport shuttle.

They even go outside and compete with other schools.
