I was wondering if anyone sold something to dress up the engine covers. I've seen billet insert but they always have some kind of design I'm not fond of.

I was thinking that it would be cool if someone made some chrome, or polished, rings that could be mounted to the stock engine covers. Something similar to the rings used to secure the plastic inserts on the clear covers. But, instead of having to buy a whole new cover, just buy a set of rings and install them. They would dress the bike up a little, and should be pretty inexpensive. Anyone know if something like that is made?

Guess you would need some kind of smooth insrt to the colt on the clutch and stator covers for this to look right

the ones I got were polished with the yam logo, nothing too weird.
Not sure what they are made of, Billet I think.
They resisted to a crash slide 2y ago with just some scratches, so I'm pretty happy :p

late venture 1300 engine covers look cool IMO
