Carbs previous settings :
Main jet DJ175
Idle jet stock
PAJ1 stock 95
PAJ2 stock 170
needle S7 clip on N°3 from middle
Idle fuel screw 2.5

Bike was running great everywhere except 3000-5000 where there was a flat wide"spot"

I installed an Innovate LM1 and saw a 11 WOT AFR at 9000 and 9.5 between 3000-5000. Obviously DJ175 was too big..


I swapped DJ 175 with Mikini 155
WOT AFR came up at 12.5 at 9000 (Great!) and 10 between 3000-5000
Bike run greater! and middle range flat spot was weaker.

I moved down the needle (last position available)
Midle range AFR is now 11-11.5 between 3000-5000, feelling is better but this is too rich again.
Now there is a lean spot at, about 16-17AFR between 2000-3000 WOT...
Part throttle is OK.
All of this with Vboost always opened.

How to cancel the lean spot between 2000-3000 without raising the rich condition between 3000-5000 ?

Should i try Stock needles (french ones, they are two stepped, but larger than S7 ones)

Should i try stock springs?

Should i try PAJ1 and 2 changes?

whats the air intake? i'm thinking maybe a stage 1 needle.

whats weird is 3k-5k at middle throttle and 2-3k wot is actually right about the same range, needle. you're not on full mains until 4.5k on WOT usually.

i'd try a different needle shape.
 
I had the same problem. I put the stock springs back in to slow down the slide and it took care of the stumble. Smooth now and running about 13.5 AFR.

As writed in the first post, this is a full Dynojet Stage 7.

Part throttle (from very light to half)is buttometer fine everywhere from idle to 5000, then it hesitate a bit (too lean, probably too low of needles)
Cruise at 2500 is a bit over 12 AFR ,at 3000 is a bit under 12AFR...
Only WOT cause lean condition under 3000 and rich conditon between 3000-5000

In fact Part throttle AFR is the opposite of WOT AFR...!

I will try Spring in first (faster swap) and then needles.

I ll try this tomorrow, it could fix the rich condition but i am afraid it will enhance the lean one below 3000... :confused2:
