hi Fire medic, i have no screen.
i can buy a original one here for 100€, i really dont like it so much on my bike but, the wind is kinda heavy.
does it work?
Yes, both the OEM Yamaha and the GIVI will break the wind on you and make things more-comfortable. I have both.

Thanks! This shield does do a good job of deflecting the wind. I’m actually pretty surprised it hasn’t sold yet..... 
Do you still need the hardware ? Been thinking on one for the 99.
It goes on right behind your turn signals. You loosen them up, slide the windscreen on, tighten them back up, and you’re good to go! No extra hardware needed at all.
