Ignition pickup coil non-OEM replacement $130

Mine had had hard starting time until it fired up last time I had a ride with it. After that, it just killed the click start without starting the engine. I checked the ohms reading it was 12.5 and rose up to 30 even when I took the leads off the connector. Then I reinserted them with no reading at all.

What could all that mean?
