ignition switch failurre

Went on a 200m ride with a friend( he also has a Max but is not on the forum). Got home, shut off the bike and then tried to restart. No joy!!! No Lights either.
Played with the switch and lights:biglaugh: So I know it's the switch. found repair info using the search function. Now just a few hours of fidding with it and I'll have a renewed switch.

Thanks 4 the offer. I cleaned the contacts( they weren't too bad ) But--- the white plastic contact holder had softened and was holding one of the spring loaded contacts open. So I heated it gently till the contact was free to move. Checked with a VOM and all seems well. I'll install tomorrow morn and all will be right with the world:ummm:
