Well I replaced all 8 friction plates with new ones, including switching the half plate to a full one. Removed the clutch boss spring, spring seat, and retaining wire and added a clutch spring. Put everything back together and I still have a hard slip in higher RPMs. I've noticed it in all gears now, but there's no rhyme or reason to WHEN it actually happens. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
A friend of mine used to work a Vmax Tech Support Line. I'm going over to his place sometime this week and he's going to help me get this problem hammered out.
