I got it at the Copart auto auction...paid $1900, primarily for the engine and a few other odds and ends and sell the rest to make some of my money back.

There is what looks like a fairly nice 1997 with 44,XXX miles going out in Rancho Cucamonga CA on April 30th, current bid is at $300...only you have to have a salvage dealer license to bid on it...though there are brokers available.

There was an '86 with 15,000 miles sold for $500 in New York this past Wednesday, was a flood bike, but pretty rough overall.

If someone forum member was close to the 97 I'd pi ck that up in a heart beat........wow surprised starting so cheap
