Hey guys,

I just bought an electronic speedometer off ebay. It is a fairly generic model with 2 magnets and a sensor. I can't get the speedometer to read higher than 8 mph. Is the pick up not catching the magnets going by? There is a "pulse 9" light that may be adjustable. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Have you tested it by just waving the back and forth past the magnet?

Well, I just realized why "dickfor" was written on my forehead. If anyone else has this issue, pulse # is the number of magnets or pick ups you have on your wheel.

Classic case of the 10% rule.

I'm about to put a sensor and magnet onto Max for new speedo too, how did you attach/mount yours?

I have a Koso with a magnetic sensor, I just pointed it at the rotor bolt without a magnet and it worked, only advice I can give is make sure the sensor isn't too close to the magnet, mine didn't work at first either and putting it closer to the bolt didn't help, increased the gap and it worked like a charm.
