Hi all I split my carbs for the first time tonight to replace the needle jet brass screw that came loose, all went very well thanks to the great references on this forum.

After getting it all back together I started the bike and noticed that one of the carbs black slides does not move in concert with the other three when popping the throttle. Does this indicate a diaphragm issue, slide issue or something else?

thanks a lot,
chuck

If the carbs were off, you need to synch them.
befor doing that, id take a minute to remove the diaphragm cover and check to see if the slide moves freely and then pull it out and inspect the diaphragm for any pinholes, cracks, or other damage.

Make sure carbs a FULLY seated. Bike wont run right without proper synch, airbox on, and vent hoses in place.
