Stock fork length

Could someone please tell me the uncompressed length of stock forks.
I've admitted defeat and a mate is turning up some fork extensions for my R1 forks.

LOL... you can do better than sleeves... why make it acceptable if you can make it perfect? Lengthen them inside instead of sleeving them.

Lol.
The way they're being done in conjunction with the head light mount they wont be noticeable.
Also I dont like the look when the internals are reworked to extend the lower leg....too motocross for my liking.
