So I noticed when I got my bike home after buying it, that the right front header pipe is blued at the cylinder and a couple other places.... the other side is not. It runs great , but I still took it down to the bike shop here and the service manager looked and listened to it and said dont worry about it... I however am wondering if I have a carb running lean or rich? this morning when I fired it up that blued pipe got warm way faster than the other one.... Thoughts?

thanks

D

Ok KJ the plug from the blue pipe is wet...lol... and the other side is dry... Hmmmm

they are both pretty sooty... im thinkin I may do the F/A mixture in the morning

Just pulled the back two plugs and they are totally rusted on the outside... must be original... its an '06 with 4700 miles on it...lmao

Yeah gonna hit the bike shop this morning... plugs, sea foam, and fuel filter are in order

:punk:

Save yourself some money and buy the seafoam and sparkplugs somewhere other than the bike shop. Unless your local shop gives you good deals? Around here they rape you for about $4/plug versus $1.35 from the auto parts store.
