Thank you Kyle. It’s been quite the road to recovery for both myself and my bike. I am stoked to get that gorgeous body work back on the bike and go for a rip. As long as I’m shouting out I have to include Sean and Steve-O without whom my bike would still be in pieces.

Been working on painting a customer's engine .

Looking good on the stripping & painting. Do you use a primer? What is your choice of paint? A DuPont gloss black?

Mine, slowly being done.20231024_174246.jpg

I took a little break and worked on my Bultaco some . I painted the swingarm and most of the other frame parts a while back. I finally painted the frame today. I have another bike here I got the ok to do a paint job on and another showed up today for engine exchange and paint job so the Bultaco will go back to the back burner

I would be interested in your report of how that compares to the OEM lamp or another aftermarket installation, if you're riding w/any other VMaxes.

Simply put, "no bueno". Don't purchase this headlight if you do a lot of night riding. That said, I also have lights on my belly pan. But I love the look more then the light.

Yes, I didn't want to say anything like that after someone spent some bucks and installed it, with the glow of proud ownership (that glow possibly being more light-productive than the new headlight). But since you brought it up, that's the same outcome that I'd seen attributed to the piece in other rider reports. It does look badass, better than all those H-D skull pieces or The Punisher ones.

Worked on this one today never painted 13 pieces for a vmax before. I had to fill in the fake gas cap on the tail and fix numerous cracks on it and the belly pan. This think is gonna look like a bass boat when I am done.lol

That looks like staring into a witch's 'spell-casting pot,' spooky!

It will be interesting to see how it lays-out.

Kyle do you recall Joe Raulf's (Boxenstopp, Holly Hill /Daytona Beach area) thick blue metalflake bike?

Maybe it will look like this.
