guards

Meant to ask this earlier, so my apologies... I picked up a set of Engine Guards yesterday (thanks Toolman!), anyone know what size bolts/nuts I need to pick up to mount them? Not sure that it matters, but my motor mounts are stock.

I'm interested in the Delkevic engine guards but can't seem to find a picture of them installed on a vmax. Any help would be appreciated. Mike

After what the genius did to my bike in the parking lot I think I want to get some frame sliders. I'm not sure which ones to get though, I've seen the ones on COO's site and a set of Delkevic on ebay. I'm just curious what anyone has had best luck with? Thanks

I have taken these off my 2005 I just purchased. Some rust, but would clean up well if you buff them out good. $50 takes them.

I was in Albuquerque the other day and saw a newer Max at the stealer. It had a blk lower fork guard that also was the fender mount. Is this factory for the newer Max's , and if so will it fit the older models ? Thanks, Chris

The OE engine guards that came on my bike had all kinds of scratches and dents on the little V "stick on" decals, so I just took em off, any idea of a part # for a replacement set or -??

Where did you buy 'em? Any local vendors to support? If so I'd like to. All the talk of forward controls and not having 'em is killing me, so I guess I'll use the case guards for now.
