Ok how on earth do you adjust them? the damper part is easy i know just turn the top but to adjust the actual coil??? I tried twisting it like it says will not budge. Has anyone found the right mix of adjustments/settings on the Gen 2 VMX17 to dial out the wallow in fast corners which are not so smooth (bumpy) (I tried a search on this but could not find anything useful)

While spending a few mind sitting on brand-new-to-me Vmax today, I looked her over and noticed the dial on the suspension in the rear. the left is set to 4 and the right is set to 3 I figure they are to adjust for the weight of the rider / passenger and such. Can anyone explain this to me...

I recently purchased a 06 max with 1600 miles and I'm thinking about upgrading the suspension. I've tentatively decided on Progressive shocks (412) 12.5 and up front a set Progressive front lowering springs. What do you guys think and is there something better but not to outrageous $$$ wise? I'm currently looking for rear shocks to replace the stock boat anchors. I know the standards are Works, Progressive and Ohlins. Has anyone tried Penske? Anyone that has changed over, post what you think or if there is another choice available.

Has anyone done a track day on a relitivly stock Vmax? if so how did you set the suspension up? I am traveling to New Hampshire later this month and am thinking of taking the vmax for fun. Any idea;s or sugestions would be helpful.
