You could add a manual fan switch.
I added one years ago when I lived in North Carolina and it was over 90-95 F for months at a time.

Many people change the thermostat to one that activates the Fan at a lower temp.
The Vmax is defonitely prone to overheating in High Temperature environments.

I have a low temp fan switch and it works great. Im sure Sean can help you get one. Its a must in my mind.

Or just get a manual override switch so you can decide whether to turn it on or not... Assuming you usually glance at the gauges from time to time...
