How hard is it to degree the cams on the Vmax if you're using the Slotted cam sprockets? Anyone ever done this....????

I'm wondering about this in case my 13:1 compression turns out to have to much cranking compression, as well as trying to squeeze more top end power out of it.......

Sean, do you know if my 13:1 is based on stock stroke? Will it be higher with the longer stroke??

Just curious with too much time on my hands...

It is pretty easy once you find true top dead center. I sloted my own cam sprockets so I am also adjusting for my added compression. If you change the bore or the stroke you will add compression. I would say that you would do good with around 55* IVC to get closer to a good corrected compression.

The pistons are setup for 13:1 with that compression. If we had not done that they would not even fit.
