Just wondering if it is ok to lightly? powerwash the Vmax if I stay away from the carbs, Also will the spray hurt a warm engine?

sorry if this a dumb question, im new to road bikes.

You can, but I wouldn't. seems that electrical issues arise when powerwashing. I just use simple green and the garden hose for the greasy stuff, then blue coral washing solution in a bucket to finish with a handwash.

Better to do it by hand or from a really good distance away...howere I've used a 15* spray nozzle to clean my headers, rims, tires, and underside of the bike with good results. Oh yeah, and don't aim at the radiator or the carb chains.:biglaugh:
