Got the socket drilled out but could not remove the thread remnants since I dont have a left hand 6mm tap. lol. So I tig welded a stainless 6m bolt right on to the socket. :biglaugh:

Wait til monday for parts?

does anyone have pics of this with covers off would like to see the set up never had a reason to pull mine would like to see whats there

Pretty straight forward woodsman30.. Having a vac pump helps.

Thanks to all who helped me through this. Now its time to continue replacing parts since I now know it runs down the road. A license might help.

Oh. tried a burn out, but pushed the front end all over the place again:biglaugh:
 
Took a pic of my free linkage. No lock nuts needed:biglaugh: and the shifter lowered (I had mine at factory 24mm) to 32 mm feels good.
